Citadel Finecast - GW's Latest Announcement
Today Games Workshop has announced the details of their latest venture, Citadel Finecast. We've learned that the new models are made from a "unique resin formula" that is allegedly both light weight and durable. This new casting process also holds detail better and is so refined that it's as close a representation to the original sculpted model as present day technology will allow. Citadel Fincast - Image Leak

New Dark Eldar - Wraks & Groteques Image Leak
The new Dark Eldar line is getting filled out quite nicely. The latest images leaked onto the net are the Wraks and Grotesques and I have to admit, with every new Dark Eldar model I see the temptation becomes harder and harder to fight. Follow the jump for the images.

Citadel Finecast
Games Workshop announced the new Citadel Finecast range of miniatures on Monday, May 16th, but are holding out on what exactly this new line of miniatures will be until a subsequent announcement on Monday, May 23rd.
Internet forums are abound with speculation that this new miniature line will replace all existing metal miniatures with either resin or a resin plastic hybrid.
With GW and retailers acknowledging that all metal minitures and plastic/metal hybrid kits have been placed on "sell down" it's obvious something big is coming.
Price Increase Announced
Yet another round of price increases. This one affects a majority of the product line and sees a 10% to 25% increase over the current MSRP.

The internet is pretty enraged by this current round of price increases as GW has yet to explain why.

Welcome one and all to The Ordnance. The Ordnance is a bit of a trial blog for Games Workshop's Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000, Lord of the Rings and Specialist Games news & rumors. Should the site take well I hope to grow it into a community recognized name and maybe even the standard for all Games Workshop news & rumors.
What The Ordnance is about: Bringing you the reader the latest news, rumors and updates regarding the Games Workshop hobby in a simple easy to use location.
What The Ordnance is NOT about: Plastering you computer screen with so many ads the site is barely usable. Filling the downtime with posts comprised of worthless drivel that has nothing to do with news, rumors or updates.
